In our hectic society, where downtime and self-care are discussed but often not rewarded, let's consider the spiritual aspects of rest through reflection and conversation.

For the sake of our mental health, our families, and most importantly our own spiritual growth as men after God's heart, we invite you to join a brotherhood that will be equal parts fun and profound. St. Andrew's Faith in Action Ministry invites you to two upcoming educational events focused on solutions to homelessness in Encinitas. We will be hosting a program including videos, perspectives of folks with lived experience, and a presentation on "Functional Zero" homelessness achieved in a Southern California beach community. There will also be discussion on ways we can collectively take action to end homelessness in Encinitas. See this flyer for more info and a QR code to RSVP.

Parish Breakfast
After 10am worship, be sure to stop by the parish hall and enjoy this month's parish breakfast! There is no cost, but donations collected in appreciation for the breakfast go to funding the Saturday morning breakfasts served to hungry members of our community.

Celebrating 60 Years on Balour!
We’ll celebrate St. Andrew’s initial Balour church building’s 1965 consecration with a special Parish Breakfast. Everyone is invited to wear a 60's outfit to worship that day! Think "Mod Squad", "Flower Power" or the finery of 60's "Sunday Best." (While we’ve been in our current home for 60 years, St. Andrew’s began all the way back in 1885).

Good Neighbor Day and Parish Potluck Picnic!
All are welcome to join on this festive occasion for worship at 10am and/or the potluck to follow!
We will be celebrating the many ways we are good neighbors to each other and to our surrounding community. Invite a neighbor, pack a salad, main dish, side or dessert to share, and join us for a potluck picnic in the courtyard. Water, coffee, tea and juice will be provided, and there’s even going to be a bouncy slide for the little ones!

Season of Creation 2025
With other churches around the world, St. Andrew's is observing The Season of Creation this fall. This will include special liturgies, culminating in a joy-filled celebration of the Feast of St. Francis complete with animal blessings on October 5th!
