Greetings!
St. Andrew’s Third Annual Harvest Party and Neighborhood Celebration is right around the corner! On Sunday, October 27 from 3 to 6 in the afternoon, we’ll be inviting our neighbors to join us in fantastic fall events, including a chili cook-off, a live band for dancing, pony rides, and lots of fun games for kids. Folks from one to 91 can also look forward to terrific surprises in our whimsical Trunk or Treat event.
Besides giving us an opportunity to have a good time with great friends, the Harvest Party supports the St. Andrew’s ministries that serve our Encinitas community.
The silent auction is the showcase of our Harvest Party fundraisers, and we’d love to include a donation from your organization. Your generous contribution to the auction will help us fulfill our mission to transform lives and nourish our community. We also gratefully accept sponsorships for one of the Harvest Party events (for example, children’s bounce houses, arts & crafts, band, etc.); just let us know how you’d like to help. Donors will be recognized online and in Harvest Party materials.
Below is a donation form; complete no later than October 7 to be recognized as one of our charitable donors. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Christine Patrize, Harvest Party Donor Chair, at (760) 415-4422. Thank you so much for your support!

- Food Pantry - For over 40 years, St. Andrew’s Food Pantry has provided all the ingredients for nutritious meals to over 75 households every week. In December, we set up a Christmas Gift Shop, offering Food Pantry guests the opportunity to select holiday presents for their loved ones from our many generous donations.
- Community Meal Program - We cook and serve a hot breakfast, complete with bacon, eggs, pancakes, and all the fixings, to anyone who stops by our Parish Hall (typically 60 to 100 food insecure people) every Saturday morning.
- Showers of Blessings - Also on Saturday mornings, the Showers of Blessings trailer pulls up to supply free showers, haircuts, and snacks.
- Interfaith Shelter - St. Andrew’s is part of the Interfaith Shelter Rotational Network, giving homeless San Diegans a hot dinner and a place to stay while they get back on their feet.
- Senior Food Program - Our partnership with the San Diego Food Bank designates St. Andrew’s as a distribution center for the Senior Food Program, offering USDA supplemental food packages to our senior neighbors every third Friday.
