CHRISTMAS GIFT SHOP for FOOD PANTRY CLIENTS
Every December
“Be the living expression of God’s love…”
Mother Teresa
The second Saturday of each December, we open our doors and hearts to brighten the lives of those we serve, providing them a chance to select Christmas gifts for their families. It takes close to 150 volunteers to make the Gift Shop happen. Those who have volunteered in the past will tell you how meaningful it was to be a part of this effort. There are so many ways to volunteer:
*Donate new and gently used items (see below)
*Help sort donations
*Help set up the Gift Shop
*Help “sell” and wrap gifts at the Gift Shop
*Provide childcare on the playground for the shoppers’ children.
