Youth Ministries

Our annual youth ski trip will be Feb. 3-4th at Big Bear Mountain.  We will meeting at St. Andrews at 5:30pm on Friday to ride up together and stay a night in a hotel.  If interested you have until January 22nd to get in your paperwork and $40 deposit.

Each Sunday a family donates snacks for The Grind.  To sign up click here.

Our Youth Worship Service takes place every Sunday morning and is followed by a Youth Coffee Hour called The Grind.  Come to the Youth Room after the 10am service and to reconnect after the service, enjoy snacks, and just hang out.

In addition to the Youth Service and Youth Coffee Hour, IGNITE (6-8th grade)meets t 4-6 weeks for either a service project or a special event.  We will agree upon a service project to adopt for the entire year to allow our students gain a feeling of ownership and commitment to that specific program.

 9twelve (9-12th grade)  meets on Sunday afternoons. This will be a bible study format for those kids who want to learn more.  They will also be given opportunities to participate in the service project we’ve adopted.

 

PARENTS:

Our Parent Prayer service “2:52” takes place the first Sunday of the month.  This is a time where we gather together to pray for each student by name. This Fall we are partnering with Clarita May who is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist to provide a Parent Workshop that will coincide with our youth group service project/events every 4-6 weeks.  If there’s a particular topic you would like to see covered during this time, please let us know.

Please download the Parental Waiver for the 2011/2012 school year.  This will cover any events we participate in and any trips we take.  Each student must have one of these filled out before they can participate in any off campus event or service project.
