While we are back to in-person Sunday School, our construction project will keep us out of our classrooms for a while longer. We are now holding relaxed and fun Sunday School classes on the playground in front of our Neighborhood Center. The entrance is through the gate on the Northwest corner of the building. If you are uncomfortable with your child rejoining in-person Sunday School, please contact Erin O'Brien, Director of Education who will be happy to send you Sunday school resources you can use at home.
In-person Sunday School Resumes
Don't let the construction fencing fool you! Drop off your child/ren at the playground at 9:50 then go enjoy worship. We will bring the children into church to join their family for communion. All the children will all enjoy a Godly Play lesson together. After the lesson, the younger children will enjoy wondering time with the Godly Play storyteller while the older children will have a more in-depth discussion with a Sunday School teacher.
In order to follow the current guidelines from our Bishop and the County of San Diego the following safety measures will be observed:
All children must wear masks.
Children must use hand sanitizer at arrival and before returning to their families.
3 feet of spacing will be maintained between children of different family groups.
Individual supplies will be provided for each child.
We send out weekly emails that include Sunday School materials (if allowed by the publisher), parent resources, important program information, and other fun stuff. Please subscribe to receive these resources or email our director.
