Stewardship - Time, Talent, Treasure
What is stewardship? Stewardship is EVERYTHING we do after we say YES to God! It is the joyful, wise and responsible use of the gifts God entrusts to us. At St. Andrews we strive to make everyday a day of stewardship. Like most churches, we conduct a fall financial campaign to raise funds to support our numerous ministries. But throughout the year, we focus on ways that members can become involved in the church, to work together as the body of Christ, to do the work He has called us to do. The mission God has for us includes helping all people realize their full potential, spreading the gospel of Christ so that all people can hear the good news of salvation, building a better world of love, peace and justice, and caring for the earth by preserving its beauty and protecting its natural resources.
Stewardship is teaching Sunday school, helping in the food pantry, serving on the altar guild, being on the fellowship team, tutoring a refugee, attending Christian education, singing in the choir, volunteering in the office, recycling your bulletins, and so much more! As we grow in service, we grow in faith, and we experience the fulfillment of living a Christ centered life.
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.
