Fellowship

And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews10:24-25

The Fellowship Ministry provides many opportunities for everyone -- young and old -- to gather together and build the community at St. Andrew's, to meet old friends and make new ones, and to share in food and fellowship.
COFFEE HOUR AND SPECIAL EVENTS
Fellowship provides coffee and delicious snacks after the Sunday services. A small coffee, tea and pastries cart serves parishioners between the 8:00 and 10:00 Sunday services as they make their way to Bible Study, prepare to teach the day’s Sunday School lesson, or sit and chat following the 8:00 service. Parish members add personal and celebratory touches to coffee hour by providing delectable hand-made treats and festive decorations for holidays and special events like baptisms or birthdays.

Fellowship also hosts such traditional St. Andrew’s events as the Maundy Thursday Supper of the Lamb, “Post-Thanksgiving Leftovers" Potluck Brunch, and the the widely-attended All-Parish Picnic/BBQ. Proceeds from the always-popular, monthly Parish Breakfast, hosted by the men of St. Andrew's, help fund the Friday free lunch program for the community .

The Fellowship Committee is deeply grateful and appreciative for the support of our volunteers: the youth kitchen crew, the many who provide delicious food on special occasions, and those who lend a hand with clean-up.  Without them coffee hour and our many special events could not take place. We always welcome new members to the Fellowship Committee and love to hear new ideas for fellowship at St. Andrew’s. If you'd like to help, contact Gigi Miller, Vestry Liaison via email Leslie Hernandez, Coffee Hour  via email.
